Is the Stone Mountain Pre-K Pass Free? 

Yes. The Stone Mountain Park Pre-K Pass is completely free for children ages 3–5 and allows unlimited visits to park attractions and seasonal festivals through December 31, 2026 once activated. If you have a preschooler at home like I do, this is one of the best family freebies around Atlanta.


Key Details About the 2026 Stone Mountain Park Pre-K Pass

Stone Mountain Park is once again offering its FREE Pre-K Season Pass for 2026, giving kids ages 3–5 unlimited visits to attractions and seasonal events through December 31, 2026.

This program is designed to help families explore one of Georgia’s most popular attractions while giving preschoolers plenty of opportunities for adventure and outdoor fun.

With the pass, kids can experience many of the park’s most popular attractions including:

  • Dinosaur Explore
  • Dinotorium indoor play area
  • Scenic Railroad
  • Summit Skyride
  • 4-D Theater

The pass also allows preschoolers to visit during major seasonal festivals like Dino Fest, Summer at the Rock, Pumpkin Festival, and Stone Mountain Christmas. 

How to Get the FREE 2026 Pre-K Pass

Getting the pass is simple and only takes a few steps:

1️⃣ Register Online
Parents must complete online registration before visiting the park. Registration cannot be completed at the park itself. 

2️⃣ Activate the Pass at the Park
After registering, bring your child to Stone Mountain Park to activate the pass at the Main Ticket Plaza (Crossroads Ticket Plaza). 

You’ll need to bring proof of your child’s age, such as:

  • Birth certificate
  • Passport

3️⃣ Start Visiting!
Once activated, your child can enjoy unlimited visits to attractions and festivals through December 31, 2026. 

Important Deadline for the 2026 Pass

Parents must register and activate the pass by May 17, 2026. 

Registration must also be completed at least 24 hours before visiting the park to activate the pass.

Do Parents Need Tickets?

Yes. The Pre-K Pass is free for the child, but a paid adult must accompany children under 16 and will need either an Attractions Ticket or Mountain Membership. 

Parking is also required when entering the park and is not included with the Pre-K Pass.
