If you have a young child at home, the early years are an exciting — and sometimes overwhelming — time. Programs like Ready, Set, School help families build the skills kids need before kindergarten.

Ready, Set, School is a FREE program from Newton Community Partnership designed to support families with children ages 0–5 as they prepare for school.

Through fun learning activities, family engagement, and community resources, the program helps parents support their child’s early development in areas like:

📚 Early literacy
🧠 School readiness skills
💬 Language development
🤝 Social and emotional growth

Programs like Ready, Set, School can help children feel more confident and prepared when it’s time to start kindergarten.

Who Can Participate?

Ready, Set, School is open to families in Newton County with children ages 0–5 who want to help their kids build early learning skills.

Families who participate can connect with community resources, learn simple ways to support learning at home, and help their children get ready for the transition to school.
