FFA Wildlife Camp: A Unique Georgia Summer Camp for Kids Who Love the Outdoors

If your child loves the outdoors, wildlife, and hands-on learning, FFA Wildlife Camp offers a summer experience unlike any other.

This week-long overnight camp for ages 10–16 focuses on outdoor education, wildlife awareness, and safety skills in a fun, engaging environment. Campers learn directly from qualified instructors while participating in activities that build confidence, responsibility, and appreciation for nature.

Whether your child is new to outdoor sports or ready to deepen their skills, FFA Wildlife Camp provides a supportive place to learn and grow.

What Is FFA Wildlife Camp?

FFA Wildlife Camp is a residential summer camp designed to help young people develop a deeper understanding of wildlife, outdoor sports, and safety.

Through a dynamic, hands-on approach, campers gain real-world knowledge about wildlife conservation and outdoor responsibility while making new friends and enjoying a memorable week away from home.

One of the camp’s core goals is to help campers build awareness, safety skills, and respect for wildlife and outdoor environments.

Camp Programs

FFA Wildlife Camp offers two levels of programming so campers can participate at the right experience level.

Basic Wildlife Camp (Ages 10–15)

Basic Wildlife Camp introduces campers to key outdoor safety skills, with a strong focus on firearm and hunter safety education.

During the week, campers work toward earning their Georgia Hunter Safety Certification, an important credential for young outdoor enthusiasts.

Programs are designed to be:

  • Hands-on
  • Age-appropriate
  • Taught by experienced instructors

Campers learn safety practices, outdoor responsibility, and wildlife awareness in a structured but fun setting.

Advanced Wildlife Camp (Ages 11–16)

Advanced Wildlife Camp is designed for returning campers or students who already have their Georgia Hunter Safety Certification.

Each year the curriculum may vary, but classes focus on more advanced outdoor skills and wildlife concepts, giving campers the opportunity to expand their knowledge and experience.

This level allows campers to continue building confidence while exploring deeper aspects of wildlife education and outdoor sports.
